I too took my car to Tim Marburger,, luckily it was under warranty (the belt broke) Well being the car wouldn't move, we asked how they would get it into the shop, they said they had a machine to push it, and that it did, and it SCRATCHED my bumper in several different places. When I got the car back, it had over 40 extra miles on it, (seems they were joy riding to me) there was grease on the cloth ceiling, the fender was scratched where they were leaning over the fender to fix the car (what ever happened to the covers to protect the fenders) and my back bumper was scratched.
They refused to give me a loaner, (the car was less than 6 months old) so I had to pay for a rental, it took over 2 weeks to get it fixed, initially they told us 2 or 3 days. When I picked it up it was dark, so the next day I took it back & showed them everything they did to it (GREASE, SCRATCHES on BUMPER & FENDER) & questioned the mileage. Well the manager said he would fix it, and I demanded he pay for the rental this time or give me a loaner, so they paid for the rental, & being they paid for the rental it was done in 2 days.
I have to say the manager was helpful, but still a bit arrogant about the damage (could it be because I was a woman) but they wound up taking the bumper off & repainting the entire thing.
I will never go back to them nor would I send my worst enemy to them to buy a car or get it fixed there. I felt like they were doing me a favor by fixing my car. Very poor customer service.
