I had been experiencing migraine headaches, and problems with my jaw. My dentist concluded that it was a wisdom tooth problem, and referred me to Dr. Tillman. Upon initial diagnosis and after the review of my panoramic x-rays, Dr. Tillman realized that it was not my wisdom teeth, but was in fact a condition known as TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder). Dr. Tillman reviewed the x-rays closer and sent me for an emergency MRI scan. To no surprise of Dr. Tillman's I had a very severe, yet rare form of TMJ that was very dangerous if left untreated. Dr. Tillman even consulted with other leading surgeons to make sure that his diagnosis was indeed correct, and to get make sure I had the best surgery available. Thanks to Dr. Tillman, I had a state of the art surgery, which repaired the disorder with very minimal scaring that is barely visible. My headaches and jaw pain went away, and I feel great. Dr. Tillman is a kind, and gentle surgeon who listens to the patient and does everything possible to correct the problem.
