Tic Tot Nursery School

This day care is the best there is in town!! My son has learned a ton, very friendly staff, clean learning enivorment! BEST OF ALL christan based! this is not a regular ole day car its a place where your child can be apart of new begining from 6wks to 5 yrs!! love it !! more

My son has attended Tic Tot daycare/school for 3 years. He has now been accepted in a academically advanced school. He tested well above most students in the class. I know Tic Tot had everything to do with that. I work two jobs and hardly never had time to really spend time teaching him is fundamentals. This school is the best thing that ever happend to me and my son. The staff are professional and loving and they understand what working/ single parents go though. I owe my son's future to this place. Ms. Stewart has helped me in so many ways, and the other teachers as well including the office staff. It's just dont get any better then Tic Tot. Oh by the way they love to feed your kids, my son always tells me he wants tic tot food!!!!, and not mine. more

I have always had a difficult time finding the right daycare that I could enroll my child in and trust that he was in good hands. I have gone through 5 daycares before I found Tic Tot Nursery. The teachers at Tic tot truly care about all the children and go above and beyond to make sure that each child is learning. When I enrolled Ben at TTNS, he was three years old and had fallen behind academically because of his learing disability.They worked with him everyday and now Ben is four years and a half and can do basic reading, writing, and adding and subtracting. As a parent, Tic Tot has always made sure that I have been informed with every event in my childs life at TT. The most wonderful education I could have provided my 3 children. Unfortunately due to Katrina, my youngest was not able to complete the program and that has been one of my most profound storm losses! The teachers and the staff as a whole are part of one big family beyond compare. Not only do the children learn typical pre-school content (reading, writing, math) to an unbelieveable level, but they are introduced to so many concepts that most traditional schools do not expose to them. A quiet kept jewel in Old Gretna. This daycare/preschool is a Christian school that makes your child feel like part of the family. It's also Class A certified. Located in the lower-half of a church, it's easily accessible. Pretty much everyone who works there is family. The children actually learn and don't just sit in front of the TV watching videos - educational or not. They are learing basic math and science as well as beginning reading principles. I am very pleased with them. My daughter started there last year when she was 3 yrs old. Now her younger brother is there in the infant class and they both love it. My daughter proudly tells anyone who is willing to listen that ""I go to Tic Tot School!"". Pros: Family-type atmosphere more
