Where do I begin? Our neighbors play music so loudly that our walls shake. I've complained to the landlord multiple times and nothing has changed. Other residents complain about the same residents playing loud music but some how the manage to be able to renew their lease??
I found a cockro ach in my hair one morning. The laundry facility is terrible. With the serial rap ist being on the lose, our land lord told me that it was only a moderate priority to put a lock on our ground floor window. It took them over a week to put a lock on it.
The landlord/property manager is the biggest jer k I've come in contact with in a very long time. Everything you ask of him is a total inconvenience and don't even think about cutting his 2 hr lunch break short or he will have your butt. He is rude and inappropriate he argues with tenants, he complains about other customers to prospective/current residents, and he makes back handed comments at every chance he gets! When I asked him to put on our lock he said residents didnt have hot water, I understood that's a problem but it was 65 degrees and rap e... hot water... i mean come on! When I was leaving he said "well I'm glad you have heat, we'll be out to fix it later." UNPROFESSIONAL!!
My electric blew the first day i moved in and it took them a week to come in and fix it bc it wasn't an "emergency" the maintenance here suc ks! Our door wasn't sliding/closing properly so they put a pin in it. I've scowered the place with bleach and cleaned the carpet and some how my feet still turn black when I walk around.
The only thing I can say is that they're a decent size for a decent price if you don't mind all of the problems. Most of the neighbors are really kind and considerate.
RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK. I'd rather live on campus...
Pros: close to down town, nice neighborhood, close to highways
Cons: terrible landlord, dirty apartments, bad maintenance, noisy neighbors, pet fees are 600+ per year non refundable
