Hidden little gem 12/20/2010

this course will surprise even the very accomplished player. While it is a short course, you can get into trouble on every hole. it is a risk reward course for sure. A good player who is striping it, can go low here. Beware, there are dangers if you try and overpower this course on every hole. It will jump up and bite your backside. Fun course, and actually one of the more beautiful courses in the Nashville area. great place to play in the summer on a late Sunday afternoon. Good place to bring your son or daughter who has some rounds under there belt and is learning to play. more

Difficult but short 1/1/2009

Very good course but it is short to where you don't have to use a driver very often. Greens are usually in excellent shape. Has a lot of difficult holes but if you like a long course, this would probably not be the course for you. I do recommend this course for anybody who loves a challenge. Rangers are not a problem at this course. They stay out of your way for the most part. Pros: Challenging Cons: Short Distance more

More than worth the drive 6/22/2008

The rim golf course what can i say but WOW! It is a great course. When we first arrived we were offered a riding cart even before climbing the hill to the club house to pay our fees. Do gra you a few beverages of choice and they will offer you a cooler packed them in ice and you are on your way to golf heaven in the country. You will see and hear wild birds of all kinds, sounds you dont here in the city anymore. If you look real close you might even get to see a couple of baby skunks playing around 17, they were so cute and could have cared less we were even there. Oh Yea you will play a very challenging course but even the weekend golfer can enjoy. The views are beautiful and the tees to green views on many holes are breath taking. One par 3 you tee off to watch the ball fall over 500 feet to the green on the floor below. They even have GPS uplink units on every cart. Keep your score on it, get your distance on it and even see where the golfers are in front of you. It comes in handy because there are some blind spots. Oh yea you can even order something to drink or eat from your cart and they will deliver it right to you. WOW, and all for the price or less you would pay for a metro park owned course. Fellow golfers go try it out if you haven't you want be disappointed. Thanks to the staff for offering a great day of relaxation and fun. James Pros: course up keep, wildlife, and scenic views Cons: you dont turn at clubhouse for food but you can order from cart. more

rude 8/31/2006

92 degrees and no water. saw marshell at number 3 and never again. club house at first hole and again at number 18. long time with nothing to drink. commented about no water on course to club house help and they turned away. commented again and still no excuse or apology. to many golf courses to put up with rude people. Pros: course is very short and people were rude Cons: leave club house at 1 and never see it again till 18 more

Worth the drive 8/3/2002

This is my favorite course in town... Worth the extra drive, rather than dealing with the attitudes of the rangers and others from the city courses.. Give me a break, its a city park course...Anyway The Scottish style bunkers are placed perfectly.. Rarely are the players stacked and packed.. Overall fun and challenging... more
