Throckmorton is the SAME BUSINESS ignore the last review. It is still crappy service! DO NOT GO THERE, I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE! They are liars. I recently went back to have my steering rack fixed which wasn't working. Throckmorton replaced the steering rack in 2012 so I went back to check if it was still under warrantee. The first time they said they couldn't find the paperwork where they got the part. I felt like they were giving me the runaround, but they said the owner was ""out sick."" So I called back the next week and they said he was in and they didn't even know he had been out sick and to come back with the receipt. When I came in again with the receipt the owner told me it was only under warrantee for 6 months and that they got the part from Napa Auto Parts. I could just tell he was a liar by the look on his face. I called Napa Auto Parts where he claimed to get the part from and they said it's a lifetime warrantee part. I called Throckmorton back and told him what Napa said and he used the F word to me. Extremely rude! Of course nobody likes getting caught in a lie. Why someone would risk their reputation in the community on a small island for a $600 part is beyond me. All I can say is, enjoy your KARMA for your lies Throckmorton! more

Throckmorton Auto is no longer in business, it's now called Ohana Auto Service Corp. New ownership and new attitude!!! Throckmorton Auto Body & Collision and safety check is still in the same building tho.... more

Went there for an oil change about 3 months ago. After waiting for the gentleman at the counter to finish his phone conversation (without being acknowledged). He asked me to ""come back and see how busy we are"". Went there again recently and got the same response after waiting 10 min without being acknowledged again. more

I got my truck inspected and they told me to come back with the registration. I came back and the guy looks at me and says what do you want. And then told me that I can't just show up and expect to get my car's inspection process finished. I have to call for that sort of thing. Also, the guy (owner) who told me to come back went on vacation for 3 weeks so I need to call and see if there is someone else who can do it. I call the next morning and speak to the receptionist and as I explained that the guy(owner) who did my inspection is on vacation so he told me to come back but he isn't even there. I wasn't even upset or rude and she says that's what we tell everybody now will you let me finish. Then she started treating me as if I was the most irrational man in the world and was very rude and sarcastic and at the end of the conversation she said ALOHA! like a total witch, a haole witch! I can't even believe that there is a company like them on maui! Cons: everything, especially customer service and timeliness more
