When wanting to purchase our own gas to refill the Mgr. suggested we use their gas at the same price. sounded ok to us but on return of car it was $67.00. He stated we bought a tank of gas and that we signed a contract. Never were we told that we needed to buy a tank of gas even if there was almost 1/2 a tank we did not use. Just old us to sign on the dotted line. He was rushing us and put a piece of paper in front of us not explaining and said your car is outside and sign here. more

Hertz Corporation, Concord, CA Monument Blvd. 7/16/2005

This is a tiny office located off the street way back in a little row of businessess. There are only 2-3 employees there. They work in conjucntion with the other Hertz offices in the general area. They have good customer service. Hertz has some of the strickest qualifications for renting a car in the industry, so you have to have a major credit card with the correct amount of credit available, of course drivers license and insurance. This location is busy at times and can cause you to have bit of a wait. PROS: Good customer service CONS: Strict qualifying regulations more
