Threshold Tattoo

My first tattoo. Small. I was a little nervous--but, this place was just top notch. Pricing? I am not sure--as this is the only tattoo that I have. But, I do know that I have sooo many compliments on my tattoo. The art is great and the colors turned out beautiful. Very clean and the artist (I don't recall his name) friendly. I would recommend to anyone. more

My wife and daughter decided pay for me to have a tattoo for Christmas. I was a little worried about everything involved before we went but once we got there I was very surprised at the quality of the facility and the expertise of the artists. I was very happy with the way mine came out but beyond that ,the people were so nice and walked me through all I would need to know about what was going to happen and when finished the things I need to do and look out for later.\r If you've ever considered a tattoo but were concerned about cleanliness of the facility or the stereotype of dirty back room parlors you may have heard stories about from your past you have nothing to worry about here. I used their restroom while I was there and you could literally eat off the floor.\r My wife and daughter were so impressed with the place and the way my tattoo came out they they both got one too while we were there and are very pleased also. Threshold Tattoo Shop is a top notch facility. All of the staff are very friendly and informative. I came in with a idea for a cover-up tatoo, and Ed ""KICK BRASS"" Bell took and made it better than I could imagine!!! Everyone made me feel comfortable and like I was priority even when the shop was busy. Not only did I see how they treated me but, I was very observant with how they treated everyone else in the shop getting work done. The shop is very clean and very comfortable! Now, let me get started on ED BELL. I have several other tattoos by several other artists and no one compares. He is a very talented artist and a very awesome human being. I most definately will be getting more work done by him in the future. I've been in several other tattoo shops were all the artists acted like they were the baddest dudes that ever walked the planet, but couldn't give a good tattoo to a blind man!!! All of THRESHOLD'S artists put their money were their mouths are. Not only did I leave with a great tattoo, but I feel like I met some new friends as well. I have been going to Threshold for years and have never been disappointed in any of the work I've had done there. I've had 3 different artists so far and each one has done amazing work. Their prices are fair, they are friendly and professional, and the shop is clean and very well kept. The owners are wonderful people and go out of their way to make sure you are as comfortable as you can be, offering water and anything else you may need. \r \r Ed is working on my most recent tattoo and the detail and effort he puts into his work is unparalleled! I've never had an artist as detailed as he is, especially when it comes to color! I got my first piercing from threshold yesterday. I was very impressed with how clean and professional the place was. The piercer Jake explained everything to me in detail and made sure that I knew the aftercare procedures. On my way out my piercing started bleeding again so I walked back to the studio where Jake was sanitizing everything. He quickly put on a new pair of gloves and stopped the bleeding. \r When I left the second time the guy working the counter made sure that I knew the aftercare procedures (again) and told me to call the studio if I had any questions. I am very glad that I chose threshold and plan to go back for more work in the future. Pros: Very Clean! Very Professional! more

Let me just start off by saying that I have multiple tattoos, but by an artist that is no longer with us. I needed to find a new shop to get work done, thats when I found Threshold. Very professional and friendly staff. Very comparable prices. Ed did an amazing job on 2 different pieces that I got this week. And Melissa is nice to look at. went to get a vertical labret piercing, had been there before for piercings and tattoos and was very satisfied. the shop is bigger now and its a different piercer than when i went a few years ago, but jake was wonderful, not that im a stranger to piercings but he was very nice and explained everything to me first. and not very pricey at all! great selection of body jewelry at really great prices! would highly recommend! the tattooist that did my piece is gone now, but seeing some of the others work it was beautiful! i went to Threshold to get my tatto done and boy, were these guys unprofessional. I mean I know tattoo guys are all badass or whatever but no need to be rude to potentiol customers. They are very pushy to get bigger and bigger art (translation more $$$) they are really overpriced. I noticed that in all the reviews. Theplace is really clean, I'll give them that much but I wouldn't reccomend getting ANY tattoos or piercings done there. I got my first piercing at Threshold five years ago and I got my most recent a week ago. After five piercings and nine tattoos I must say it speaks for itself. The group of people that are there are amazing and their work is the same. My last piercing was a sensitive one and I was really nervous but Jake and Tamara were very comforting and did all they could to calm my nerves. Melissa did a custom lotus flower on the top of my foot and her line work and shading are incredible. I've also gotten two tattoos from Jonathon and he's doing a great job as well. I can't say enough good things about Threshold. Not only is their work great but their studio is immaculate as far as cleanliness goes. They've expanded and the studio is open and welcoming, it really makes me as a customer feel comfortable. Pros: great customer servce, great work and great atmosphere more

I decided to get a full sleeve about a year ago and had a guy named Ed Hall construct and tattoo it. He now works at Threshold tattoo shop. Not only do I reccomend Ed to everyone in the world... I do know after seeing my sisters tattoo she had gotten from Jason [also working for Threshold tattoo] I will NOT o anywhere else for my ink. Its extremely clean there, everyone is very friendly, andthe tattooist knew their material for sure. Of course the prices differ from one tattoist from another... Threshold is a very good, clean place. I've went there for my past 3 piercings, and I loved how they pierced me everytime. Everything is sterile that they use to pierce you (and i'm sure the same is for tattoos) and my overall experiences were perfect. I really recommend Threshold. The tattoo artists and piercers are professional and kind, and inform you of aftercare. Pros: The piercing doesn't take long, and they're very sterile. Cons: I haven't found any yet! more

After years of deliberating, I finally got the nards up to get the tattoo I've been wanting. They gave me a good price and Melissa did an excellent job. Ive been to threshold many times for tattoos and piercings and it was a great experience everytime. The artists that work there are highly skilled top notch artists. Whoever wrote the review i found craig is crazy, its supposed to be a review ,not a place where u can advertise a bad artist that has no buisness even touching a tattoo machine. I got my first tattoo Friday and I couldn't be happier. Threshold is clean, neat, professional, and everyone there is extremely nice and helpful. Ed drew an original from ideas that I brought in. He came up with a design I never would have thought of, but it is way better then anything I could have found. What an amazing artist.
