Three Dog Bakery

Alright, I'll admit it. I love my dogs. I make them cookies, I have bath toys for them, and I talk to them like they're my children. So, you know I had to check out the Three Dog Bakery on my first trip to Seattle. Located right off of Pike's Place Market, the Three Dog Bakery is a haven for anyone who want to pamper their pet's taste buds. One of their claims to fame is that Oprah took a bite of their dog cookies on national TV. Dog treats appear behind glass cases like those you can find in a human bakery, and sometimes the likeness is uncanny. Angel and Ana go nuts for anything with peanut butter in it. There's this doggie donut that's also good because it's so crunchy and dense that it lasts them a while. For those special occasions, they even make doggie birthday cake. more

It's funny how far pet ownership has come. Who would have thought that one day there would be a bakery dedicated strictly to the canine palate? Well, that day has already come, and Three Dog Bakery delivers. I recently attended a doggie birthday party, and the cake was provided by Three Dog, and the dog guests absolutely loved it. Having never tried the baked goods myself (not being a dog and all) I can only go by the tail waggings and food hoovering to assume the treats are tasty. more
