Thornton Land Surveying Is A Locally Owned And Family-Run Operation As Well As Being A Recognized Veteran-Owned Company, Currently Employing Seven People, Most Of Whom Reside In Gig Harbor And Tacoma. Our Two Principals, Gary Proctor, A Retired Marine Corps Lt Colonel, And David Proctor, Also A Marine Corps Veteran, Are Both Licensed Land Surveyors. Each Has Close To 20 Years Of Experience In Boundary Resolution, Topographic Mapping, And All Other Aspects Of The Surveying Industry. They Gained Their Experience Via First Hand Observation Of And Tutoring By Their Father Who Was Also A Surveyor Licensed In Washington State.both David And Gary Have A Wide Range Of Projects Behind Them Varying From Boundary Determinations, Residential Subdivisions, Aquatic Leases, Bathymetric Surveys, Gps ,to 3-D High Definition Laser Scanning And Flood Mapping. Their Backgrounds And Experiences Have Given Them Excellent Time Management Skills.
