I had an excellent experience with my recent purchase of a Flexsteel Penthouse sofa. Alysia took care of my order which I made over the phone. She let me know all the sales info and also how long it would take (2 - 2 1/2 weeks) before my sofa would arrive to be shipped to my home. A couple of weeks later I was contacted by Matt letting me know that my sofa had arrived and scheduled the day and approximate time it would be delivered. I asked to be texted a few minutes before it was to arrive as I work from home and wanted to be ready. Christian texted me 5 minutes before arrival. His partner Danny was very friendly and professional seeing where I wanted to place the couch and removing a couple of the pads as it was a tight squeeze to get the couch through the front door. Christian and Danny set up the couch and took off all the protective plastic so that it was ready for use. I know that this couch will give us years of use. Thank you Alysia, Matt, Christian & Danny for your service. Next time I'm in the Lancaster area I will stop in to say hello. more

The 2 gentlemen Christian and Danny were excellent workers. They put the bed up and place our mattress and box spring in place even though we did not purchase the set from their store. Thank you vey much. more

They gave me a time he was going to bring my chair, I have something I had to do, the time he gave was from 3 to 5. I had to be there at 5. I asked could he make it sooner. He told me he had other stops to make but he would try. At 4:00 he showed up with my chair. Thanks to him I was able to make it. I know it doesn't sound like much but it meant a lot to me. Because he cared more about me then something he had to do I was able to make my appointment. They are A1 in my book. more

Debbie Blankenship was an excellent salesperson. She let me browse and when I saw something I liked she wrote up the order. Whenever I expressed a concern she made suggestions. I rate her a 10! The delivery crew were very professional and neat. They unpacked and assembled all the furniture. I rate them a 10 also! more

Had the best shopping experience picking out furniture while shopping at Aven's! Our salesperson was extremely patient while we went through different fabrics for a couch and chair. We have purchased furniture from Aven's in the past. Our experience began with the greeting from Dawn of the sales staff. Dawn allowed my wife and I lots of time and space to view, discuss and finally decide on what turned out to be the perfect bedroom set. Dawn and several other staff members pitched in and got our order completed and us on our way. Our order arrived in the store and our prearranged delivery was accomplished by Matt and Dan. These guys were supermen, they assembled our bed, positioned everything to the "exacting standards" of my lovely wife (with smiles on their faces) and answered any questions I had about the product. This was a most pleasant experience from start to finish. We would do gladly do business with this group again (and we plan to).. more
