Things From Another World Inc

This store is stocked, I have to admit that. There are things here you could hardly imaging would be available in Beaverton, Oregon. I have been there twice and I always find something interesting. The prices are marked up a bit. A few times Ive found identical items on Amazon or Ebay considerably cheaper. Still, it's fun to browse around in, especially on a rainy Oregon afternoon. The staff has not always been so helpful. Perhaps it's because I am a female and they feel I won't buy anyway. I have the sneaking suspicion they view me with contempt whenever I wander into their establishment. I also feel that way whenever I run into Wendy's just to use the bathroom, so it could just be me. Located off of Cedar Hills Blvd, this Things From Another World location has the friendliest staff of all their locations that I am able to find. The subscription service has yet to fail me, and books are in my box by 4PM every Wednesday. My only complaints would be the ridiculous mark-ups on collectibles and the lack of indy comics. more
