The finest massages I've ever had 4/23/2009

Sandy Saldano has been my massage therapist for 19 years. I know of nobody who has a better intuitive instinct for healing--and she imparts the standards she sets for herself on all the other therapists she employs. Over the years, she's helped me with muscular issues such as fibromyalgia, bone & joint range of motion and mobility (I work out alot), cranial-sacral applications for headaches, and just simple deep relaxation. There's much value in someone who can assess the condition of your body through their touch and attend to what's needed (kneaded). When I've traveled I've often had massages in some very popular spa settings or have been given gift certificates for massages at other facilities. No massage has ever been better than the ones I've received at Therapeutic Kneads. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment. Pros: Amazing knowledge of the body's interworkings Cons: Cannot think of any drawbacks more

Massage for fibromyalgia 3/30/2009

No massage therapy is created equal to Therapeutic Kneads. What sets these therapists apart is their outstanding knowledge of the human anatomy and overall health and well-being. In fact, it was the owner at Therapeutic Kneads, Sandy Saldano, who first diagnosed my perplexing health issues. She knew years before any physician that I had fibromyalgia. I credit her and her therapists with helping me get back on my feet. I was already a client when, about six years ago, I was in an auto accident and hospitalized for bleeding ulcers during a time when I was commuting between the Midwest and the Southeast nursing my terminally ill mother. Obviously, tremendously stressful. But when about a year later, I had deteriorated to the point where I no longer was able to shop, garden or even do laundry, Sandy made her diagnosis. And brought me back to functioning, so that today, I am doing more than ever; running two businesses, volunteering, doing all my own housework and gardening. During this recovery, it is so wonderful that if Sandy is out of the office, I can choose any one of five or six therapists to get the same deep tissue massage that detoxes me and relieves my pain. Or, if I am having a really bad time, the therapist comes to my home. Therapeutic Kneads provides truly personalized therapy—what’s right for me on that particular day. I have found that the packages are the most economical, and prepaying not only gives me one massage free, but also motivates me to stay with my wellness plan. I also purchase Shaklee products, which are non-toxic and fragrance free, very important to me, as well as many other items as gifts for friends and family. But what they really want is a Therapeutic Kneads gift card, which I can buy online. Therapeutic Kneads is part of my staying well. Pros: Controls fibro pain, improves sleep and flexibility Cons: Wish I could go three times a week more
