I called to schedule a pick-up of some items I was throwing out from my apartment. After an extended conversation with them on the phone, they let me know they thought what I had sounded like a quick pick-up which they could do for 150-250.
Now, a week goes by. I make plans to arrange to have free time in the morning before the pick-up to make sure everything is in bags and ready for them on the curb to make things as easy as possible.
I get a phone supposedly to confirm the scheduled pick-up.
This new lady asks me about the details again and suddenly changes the story. She says, ""one or two"" bags would qualify for the quick pick-up ($250) but that actually since it sounds like I have more than 2 that now it's going to cost much more!! The DAY BEFORE???
Now if I were going to throw out 2 bags of trash I'd just put it in the regular trash and let the city pick it up for FREE. What kind of idiot do these people think I am?? 250 bucks for 2 bags? What??
So, I told the woman I wanted the order cancelled, and she had the nerve to ask if to stay for the cancellation reason that I just couldn't afford more than 250 bucks. Really?? That's how you treat your customers, really??
I said, ""No, the reason I'm cancelling is because you told me one thing and now you're telling me another thing completely and I no longer want your services.""
Real nice, people. Really classy.
If I were you I would stay away from these people.
