I'm not a pro so it isn't really a big achievment - But they had a great selection of the things I was looking for. Very attentive saleman convinced me not to buy things I wasn't really needed!!!! Loved it!!! more

Called and asked about getting fitted for clubs. Guy told me to come on over. So I walked over and told the salesman that I was a beginner. He asked me how tall I was, told me the standard size would fit me and pointed at a few sets. This one is $150. This one is $400. This one is $900. Guy showed zero interest in doing as much as letting me hold a club. I turned right around and left. I had intended to buy a putter while I was there, on the spot. I won't buy a thing at that place. If they are all the same, I can buy my clubs online cheaper. Pros: Convenient location Cons: Zero interest in working w/beginner women more

Simple store, great goods 4/7/2009

This store is great. It took me 5 minutes to find my Titleist Pro VX1's, a Scotty putter, and a Foot Jot glove. Other BIG stores, it takes an hour. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Lucky for me, I had a tee time an hour later, so I had enough time to grab a beer up in Westchester before my round. Thanks World of Golf!! Pros: Easy to find equipment more

I picked up a Calloway driver here a while back and it was a great experience. I not only got to demo the club upstairs, but I also got to check my swing callibration. It's a cool spot. Really friendly staff, great prices, and convenient midtown location. I definitely recommend this place for all golfers. Pros: AMAZING selection Cons: I wish there were more! more

I went in to the World of Golf recently to buy a new driver. The sales guy was attentive and knowledgeable. Presented me with a couple of driver options and let me try them out in the upstairs practice net. Prices were in line with online and other stores. I would highly recommend getting your golf equipment here. Pros: Knowledgeable staff Cons: Limited selection compared to bigger golf stores more
