After writing a review here after my first few visits, the level of caring the staff provided seemed to go way down. I would call and try to talk with the doctor but only the nurse would call back and not really seem to care about my major concerns. GREAT!! Always so nice and treat me like they care!! 10/10/2008

I was recommended to the Womens Center by a friend and I cannot thank her enough. Everyone here is so nice and caring. She actually listens to questions and talks to me like I'm a human not just another case in her office. I don't dred coming to her for yearlys because she is quick, informative and to the point. Love her!! more

Hope you don't have complications 8/16/2008

I had complications post-partum. The doctor could not handle these complications, yet did not seek appropriate consultations in a timely manner. She was very arrogant and very unknowledgeable as to how to manage me medically. She delayed giving me the proper treatment for my main complication by two weeks. My other complication was not treated by her at all. It was treated by pulmonary. I was lucky that I made it out of the hospital alive. I could have not lived to see my baby, due to her incompetence more

Life Changing 10/5/2006

When I went to the Women's Center I had a very low degree of health and was suffering (in silence) from urinary stress incontinence. With a minimally invasive surgery that problem was swiftly taken care of. At my next visit Dr.Avendano suggested that I take the food sensitivities test (ALCAT). I have been on my personalized diet for my food sensitivities for just a week now. I already feel a marked difference in my energy level, a great deal less gastrointestinal upset, and I'm feeling really great. I have a level of health that I thought was way beyond me. Dr.Avendano has changed my life tremendously. more

Compassionate & Charming 6/29/2006

Searching for a gynecologist is no easy feat. My first attempt at US Healthworks in Bellevue was a bust but I tried again. I hit the jackpot with Dr. Barrett-Avendano. Her office is staffed with kind, professional women and everything is clean, from the waiting room to the exam room. The good doctor herself is personable, intelligent, and has a wonderful bedside manner. What a find! more
