The Wine Cellar is a great place to find a wide variety of Virginia wines - try Rockbridge Cellars sometime if you've never had it! It's only 30 minutes from Staunton and can be purchased either at the winery or at The Wine Cellar. We put our names on the e-mailing list over a year ago and periodically get announcements for Wine Tasting events - usually from about 5pm-7pm on a Friday night. It's fun to go try a few new wines and meet others from the area. The Wine Cellar sells beer brewing kits too - I need to buy one for my husband for his birthday - I know he's been eyeing them for a while now! :) more

Very Knowledgeable about Wines 7/16/2005

This is a very warm and cozy shop that carries a great selection of wines from all over the world. The owner is very helpful in finding the right wine for the right occasion. This is the place to look for local wines as well as wines that you cannot find anywhere else and if they do not have what you are looking for they will see if they can get it. more
