Because Delta messed up our flight and required us to spend the entire night in Detroit, my husband and I decided to stay at this Westin, which is attached to the airport. (We could've stayed at a cheapo, farther-away hotel that the airline would discount us for, but we were not interested in that...) This Westin had a smart idea to be right next to an airport to pick up the business of stranded travelers, although finding the entrance to the hotel late at night is a little difficult because the main entrance is closed. The front desk staff were sympathetic to us about our flight, and the room looked nice and was comfortable. The nightly rate was reasonable. The food from the room service could have tasted better and been less expensive. This hotel was nice and slightly upscale, but we probably wouldn't stay there again, unless we were stranded at the airport once more, and I really hope that never happens.
