For the most part Vista Apartments are a nice place to live. The 2 bedroom town home is very spacious but all of the appliances look as if they date back to the late 1980's. The molding and the foundation & structure of the buildings are in very poor shape (after moving in an investigating more). Our basement window is a mess, it's falling apart and crumbling upon the window ceil (disgusting). The furnace in the home is very prehistoric (had a few problems with it in the winter months). As far as the rental office staff, they're very nice & involved when you're viewing the property, then once they get you in, they turn into their regular and could care less about your complaints. As far as maintenance, they may have to be minded several times about finishing a job or even coming out. We've lived in Vista apartments for a year & have had about 10 maintenance orders. As far as neighbors you hear occasional noises, nothing that bothered us. But then you get an elderly person on the other side of you who complains about every bit of noise she hears (such as talking in you bedroom, wow). So beware of an elderly, nagging neighbor (who should probably relocate to assisted living, where it's really quite & families don't reside). The Nicest part about Vista is the overall look of the community is nice, the pool, and the space you get in the town home. Other than that they are not worth a dime of what they are listed as, and thats why we will not be renewing our lease. Casto should really start investing in their properties and stop buildings new ones in the meantime.
