The Village Groomer

Our experience with The Village Groomer was nothing short of horrendous. We were told that they did "hand stripping", which is a grooming method for certain Terrier breeds. We were assured that this would be done and set an appointment for the day that this was undertaken at their direction. When I cam to pick our dog up I was speechless [I decided to avoid a confrontation there and then as there were othe patrons there and I felt it could/should be handled privately]....they had shaved him and worse, had nicked his flank with the trimmers. This resulted in a hot spot developing and a $260 visit to the vets as well as three weeks of antibiotics etc. When we called to discuss this with the owner, she was defensive and ultimately rude. I would recommend avoiding this groomer. Our vet has directed us elsewhere. more

I`d taken my Ella to a few groomers in the area but none of them have pampered her like they do here at the The Village Groomer. She comes home looking so pretty with her bows and shiny coat :) We`ll be coming back again next month, I`d become a new regular here. more

Unlike other dog groomers I have used in the past at The Village Groomer my dog gets a one-on-one pampering. I would recommend The Village Groomer to anyone. Give it a go – your dog deserves it! more
