Hey Everyone... I went into this store.. just strolling by.. and found it to be AMAZING!.. I see some say it's a litte pricey... but for my ""Sammy""..I wouldn't want anything but the best.. The Unique food they have, designed around caring for my baby.. rather than just feeding him.. Deborah the owner, WOW.. she seems to know everything about the foods, the interactions, the best choices for ""Sammy's"" size, type of diet or nutrional needs ""Sammy' has.. I will never shop those ""chain pet stores"" again.. Thanks for being there.. just when I needed you. Oh..and get a pair of DOGGLES.. O.M.G! Jimmy and ""Sammy"" more

OUTSTANDING PEOPLE 6/18/2009

The minute you walk in the store you can tell that this is a place for pets. The selection of collars and leads was incredible. They even have gourmet treats. I was on vacation and a friend took me in to find a lead from my new IG. The staff knew exactly what would fit and made me aware of things to look out for so that the halter would not scratch his tender skin. Don't go anywhere else. Worth every penny to get the best. While I was there some dogs came in. They were smiling to be in that store. Thanks for the great service. Pros: This is a real store for pets. Competent Staff and Unique Store 1/31/2008

You walk it and the staff welcomes you. They remember your name and what your pet eats. It's awesome! The food is expensive but no more expensive than the Science Diet, Natural Balance, etc., that you buy at Petco. Plus, if your dog or cat doesn't like the food, you can take it back! The store is trendy, clean and pretty cool to visit. I'm a collar freak, so I LOVE the selection of cool collars! Also, they welcome dogs in the store, which is pretty neat and your dog always gets a treat from the staff. WE LOVE THE URBAN CANINE! Pros: Knowledgeable staff Cons: This ain't Walmart! more

The best dog gone store in town! 3/2/2007

We just moved to Spokane from Portland and I was thrilled to find Urban Canine! The staff is extremely friendly and knowlegeable about their products. They offer free trial samples of dog food so your dog can try a couple of kinds before committing to a big bag. This is a premium store that sells premium products, so prices are up there, but the level of quality and service is worth it!\r \r The dog groomer next door, Sylvano is also excellent!
