HORRIBLE PIZZA! 3/22/2010

Upper Crust is the worst pizza me and my husband have ever had. The dough is so thin you can see through it and toppings? What toppings? We asked the school kid if we should get extra cheese since we never ordered from them before. We got one cheese pizza and it had barely any cheese on it at all. Not to mention the price. Very, very overrated! Don't waste your money. Cons: Pizza? Are you kidding me? more

I started going to the Upper Crust in Hingham when I moved there several years ago, and I couldn't be happier with the service or quality of food. You get what you pay for, and at the Upper Crust, the ingredients really are top-notch. Whether its the hand-made dough, chunky tomatoe sauce, or fresh salads, everyone always leaves happy. The store can get a little hectic at peak times, and that's why their call-ahead and delivery services can be so great. However busy it gets, though, the pizza is always delivered with a smile and the personal care that you just don't get at bigger chain-style restaurants. Pros: Pizza by the slice, free delivery, in-store atmosphere Cons: Inside could be more spacious, no alcohol more

Too pricey for takeout 7/16/2008

On a hot summer night after boating in the harbor we decided on takeout pizza for dinner. We ordered three small pizza's with one topping each and a large cheese pizza. We were a bit shocked on the total charge of $55.00 YIKES FOR TAKEOUT PIZZA ??? I would have gone to a sit down establishment and enjoyed being waited on for that price... We've eaten pricey pizza before but to us this was not worth the money.... Pros: if our pizza was hot the flavor seemed to be fairly good Cons: prices ouch - for pizza it's crazy - more

Best Pizza in the South Shore 6/5/2008

The quality of the toppings are great. Everything is so fresh. Great place for families with kids, if you go on the early side. No liquor license, just softdrinks. more

we went there for dinner one night and were very disappointed. Unless we missed something, the Upper Crust in Hingham Sq does NOT have a full bar? Pizza is very good though! Pros: good pizza Cons: it's a store front...think any ""house of pizza"" more

I love the BBQ chicken pizza, and my wife loves the veal parm. Pretty much anything you choose is going to be great. Keep up the good work! Pros: Great pizza. Nice place. Friendly staff. more

Pretty Good Stuff 11/18/2007

We get pizza from the Upper Crust every couple of weeks and it's great stuff for the most part. The waits aren't so fun, but it's generally pretty good pizza, though definitely on the expensive side. more

Hooray! Finally we have some great pizza on the South Shore!! 1/25/2007

I love these guys! They make the best thin-crust pizza around! The crust is crispy and fresh, and the sauce is simply delicious! Tons of great toppings, and a really nice renovation of the old cafe that was there before... If you make it into Boston, they have a few more downtown, which is how I found it in the first place! Keep it up guys! Pros: Fresh crust, sauce and toppings.... the best pizza by far! Cons: Order ahead, as they tend to get very busy around dinner.... more
