The transformation studio is located in a shopping plaza on Hwy 6 in Sugarland. I have had my make up done for an event and it was amazing. I received many compliments and the photos came out wonderful. For anyone who is planning an event and will need their makeup done this is the place to go! I absoulutely love The Transformation Studio! One of the best spots! I went here for a makeup class with the owner & teacher Sarah Ali! She is a very talented woman! My experience in the class was great! I learned so much and i also got a makeup kit that got me started with makeup! You learn so many things! I recently got my photos for graduation taken by Sarah Ali at the Transformation Studio in the photography room! I am very pleased with her work she made me look like a model in those pictures! I highly recomend for people to go to the Transformation Studio! I was so afraid. I almost never wear make-up, but wanted to make sure I came through in my wedding pictures. I told her all I wanted was me, natural, but enough ""pop"" so that I came through. I had a ""test"" run for our engagement photos. They came out soo beautiful with no touch up from the photographer. I recently had an appointment with Rozmin, a stylist, at the studio for an updo for a formal event. She did a fabulous job! She was waiting for me when I arrived at the studio and had my hair done in less than an hour. I hosted my daughter's 5th birthday party at the stuido and all the guests had a wonderful experience. Sarah (owner) was able to provide makeovers and photo shoot for the girls. Additionally, she set up one room as Hanna's dance room where the girls danced with a live Hanna impersonator.\r For the mothers (I had over 40 of them) she had a really nice ballroom type arrangement set up. I will definately be hosting another party here soon. What I love about this place is that I was not stuck with a pre themed party. I have been to lots of Sweet N Sassy parties that are all the same. The Transformations Stuido was classy, the personnel were professional. A nice reception area, quality atmosphere, with a sitting area .The staff was magnificent, and the aroma in the air just blissful. Sarah saved me! She agreed to do my wedding make-up with 2 days notice. I went to her beautfiul and soothing studio just plain old me, and I walked out a fab bride. It took 2 and a half hours, but my mother and I were beyond pleased with the results. You are welcome to look at my before and afters on Sarah's webpage. I used Sarah as my wedding and reception makeup artist. She did an absolutely beautiful job! The makeup was impeccable, exactly what I had asked for and way more than I could have thought of myself. More importantly, she was very calm during all the craziness. She worked with our schedule and was just plain fun to have around in the hours before the ceremony. My valima makeup: AMAZING ......... this woman is talented beyond words! She's a true professional, so easy to work with, listens to your 'wants' and incorporates her ideas with yours for a fabulous look - so many to choose from it's hard to pick just one....she can do anything! I chose the transformation studio for my wedding after seeing Sarah's work on facebook photo. I have to say that after my first consultation session with her I was convinced that I'd made the right choice. Sarah isn't just a makeup artist; she's a phenomenon. Her candor, wit and empathy are just a few of the qualities that reflect in her work. Prior to booking her I'd had several sessions with artists around town with lines like Chanel, Bobbi Brown and MAC, and none of them ever bothered to listen to my requests. My trial appointment with Sarah was enough to convince me that apart from being meticulous about her products, she was dedicated to giving me the look I'd imagined. We sat down and discussed all the details of specific events and I booked her as the artist for the entire wedding. I also bought mini packages for two of my best friends. To say she did a superb job would be injustice to her skill, but all I can say is that in her I gained a new friend. Her background in psych not only makes her an excellent listener ( vital for any artist working with harried brides), but also an astute observer and advisor. Her studio is clean and simple. I'm very particular about the ambiance, regardless of the product. On two days I went to her studio and because she's so popular there were tons of brides back to back...so my only advice would be to book her early and just pay a little more and get her to come to you. My husband met her for the first time during pre-reception prep and warmed up to her instantly because of great sense of humor. We highly recommend her and the studio, and inshallah plan on hiring her for all future gigs within our families. more

I recently had a lovely experience taking a 20 hr makeup class. Sarah was a wonderful teacher. She shared all the little details about doing makeup that others don't tell or don't know. For years I have wanted guidence on choosing the correct brush for what I want to do in a particular area of the face. I finally understand. I had makeup and hairstyle done at Transformation Studio.. I never looked better. I was not surprised since she runs the only Professional Makeup Academy in Texas. Her make up studio has a beautiful lake view which is very relaxing. She is launching her own make up line Chamak which I found to be better than some top brand names. Well I am kind of a reserved person. I take time to become friends with someone. But when I met Sarah for the first time, it seemed like I've known her for a long time. Thats how sarah is...love her for that :D I've been to the transformation studio a few time. I have gotten a facial and a hair cut there. The staff was very friendly and professional. I also went for the belly dancing class once. I loved that I didn't feel uncomfortable on any of the visits. Sarah also sent out an email asking for any suggestions or improvements that needs to be made (normally no one takes time to do that) . PS : I wasn't forced to write this review...I just did it because I loved the place and services I got there. I recently signed up for a make-up application class and had a terrific experience. It's a great place to learn new tricks and techniques to freshen up or glamorize your look. Sarah was very helpul and personable. She listened to my questions, helped me with my problem areas, and best of all - there was no pressure to buy any products.
