We have sent two kids to the Suzuki School over the past 6 years; one of them is still enrolled. The old Cains Hill location was run down and small yet we got the sense that the ...

i had two children at the suzuki school. while i was concerned about the teacher turnover rate, i put my pride aside and just came to visit. i sat outside the classroom and watched for a while, they have double sided glass so the kids can't see you, and after just a couple hours i was at ease. the teachers are amazing. the staff is amazing and helpful, no matter how many questions you have. i wish they had half day prgrams, but its more than worth it when i see how independent and strong my child has become at such a young age! more

Awful!!! 6/29/2015

We had 2 kids at the Suzuki School for 3 years. Unfortunately, the service level had deteriorated past the point of no return. The major complaint (that lead to all other issues) is the fact that the school is ruled by an autocratic administrative staff (particularly the president), with little regard for child or parent welfare. Their only concern seems to be squeezing out margins at the expense of children and parents. more

The Suzuki School should probably be converted to a performing arts school rather than a montessori institute. They house a staff of some of the best actors in the city. While they seem loving and concerned they are truly just the opposite. The administration specifically is the most unorganized, unprofessional group of individuals i have ever had to cross paths with. They care nothing about their staff or children and everything about making a profit. For your 1400+ dollars a month, you can expect high turnovers, cheap materials, and your children's food to be rationed sparingly in order to save as much money as possible. On most days your child will have meals they dont even like and on the days they do like what is served, there wont be enough for them to even have seconds. Don't bother getting attached to any of the loving, nurturing teachers either, because the administration probably doesn't have plans to keep them around. In the infant classrooms you can expect to be 30-35 children ranging from ages 6 months to 18 months; and as soon as there is an opening for the next level you can expect for you child to be moved up whether they are developmentally ready or not. Basically, to make space for new money..i mean children. Enter at your own risk. more

You are about ready to see what happens when the school gross too large and gets to Grady. This happened last time and I withdrew my child reluctantly. This used to be in amazing school and I just had my three-year-old there until today. I came in unannounced for a doctors appointment and what I saw was pure chaos. One of the very kind teachers is about ready to leave and she can't take it anymore. They are being forced to go pure Montessori which is against everything she believes in and nose and trust. The teachers want to be able to actually teach the children and engage with them but cannot do so. The ratios are never what they seem and that's why they don't want you to come in unannounced. Basically plenty of children are in free play all day long for $1600 a month. There is nothing wrong with free play but how many of these children will be prepared for the rigors of elementary school? Not many. Someone needs to change direction – I am going to be withdrawing tomorrow. Fool me once… more
