Went to the Snapper Inn yesterday for the Mother's Day Brunch and was greatly disappointed in the food, service and price of what we were served. For $40.00 we had a choice of appetizer, entree(""salad"" is included also, but no choice) and dessert. This restaurant is supposed to be known as a seafood place, but the quality of the seafood dishes were poor. My stuffed shrimp with crabmeat entree had mostly breadcrumbs in the stuffing as well as the crabcake appetizer. Everything tasted like it came out of a freezer and was barely heated in the oven.\r

Our table had to ask for bread and we were literally served cold bread, not bread that's been out on a counter, I mean COLD as if it was defrosted. The butter came piped out on a dish in a fancy pattern, but had refrigerator taste. My husband's entree came out on a dish that had 2 big chips on the edges.\r

The service was sloppy, the silverware dirty and we were also charged for soda, which should have been included in the price! Our bill came and they automatically put in 20% tip for service. This is unacceptable!!! There is no incentive to give good service if the waiters know they are getting a tip no matter what.\r

We could have gone to another place for Mother's Day and we chose this place and we can't take it back. My mom deserved a better dinner than this. \r

I would never recommend this place to anyone. If I have to pay $40 for a Mother's Day menu, give me good food!!!!!
