A number of U.S. presidents, including John F. Kennedy and George Bush, have enjoyed this hallowed establishment founded in 1938, and certainly this place caters to a largely political clientele. There's a crystal chandelier in the lobby. Curtained booths for two are off the main dining area. The 2-inch-thick filet mignon practically melts under its crispy charred crust. There's a large wine list. Desserts include white chocolate mousse cake. great place, I recommend to everybody.
