The Secret Garden

These guys used to be good, about 8 years ago, now they are awful. The owner is a jerk. The service is awful. The prices are above everyone else in the area. It's like they don't want to be in business. They have a for sale sign up, there is a reason for that. Never again! more

After driving around for 2 hours to every nursery and tree farm in 2 counties to find them all closed one day, we happened to see a sign for The Secret Garden. Fifuring 10 more minutes on the road wasn't going to kill us at that time, we took our chance, and found them open! An hour later, we left, our car full of gorgeous plants and a couple hours later were standing in our front yard next to a large hole when the owner pulled around the corner with our tree. After helping us plant it, he gave us some tips on the care for it and left. We were so impressed with their high-quality selection of plants, walk-through gardens to see what they all looked like "grown up", and extensive knowledge of the trees that enabled us to pick out the perfect one. The fact that they could deliver the large tree we bought was great! Everything they did for us was perfect! My only complaint was that the prices were a bit higher than we were expecting, but the service we received made it worth the extra money! more
