Stuffed in the room with birthday and engagement parties in the middle of chaos, we were serenaded with an exaggerated chorus of ""Happy Birthday "" and Congratulations"" many times in an obscenely overcrowded room, when the rest of the restaurant was empty. Garishly loud quartet of waitresses and 2 yearolds everywhere, screaming in tantrums rebelling the overpriced shrimp. Looking at the redundant menu for 10 minutes, we decided on Calamari, Shrimp Scampi, and Seafood Platters- scallops, shrimp, and another unidentifiable white fish. The Bisque was acceptable. The chowder looked less than appetizing, brown stew overflowing in the bowl. I wasnt sure if I ate any calamari, it was too heavily breaded. Perhaps they charged me $7.95 for fried bread and sauce. Shrimp scampi- OK. The seafood platter- uneventful. Fries came from the diner down the block, thats what they looked like anyway. Expensive, flavorless, stone-aged decor, snail-paced service.
