I laugh at the closure of The Scene bar. Ha ha ha! So long, suckers! What a hell hole it was. Their website said crap like ""bands - don't even think of mailing your CD to us""...""any photos, albums, or band materials will be thrown away""...""we may not even listen to your band online, but we'll contact you if we're interested""...""welcome to the 21st century, punk""... What idiots, announcing their musical ignorance, destroying the opportunity to hear good, new music (for free, no less). F**k you, Scene bar! What places like this fail to realize is that THEY need bands, bands DON'T need them. Bands have their entire LIFE to play music. Piss factories like The Scene have to pay the rent, and the way that happens is if they welcome decent bands to play, and folks show up. Period! Oh, and the bartender chick INSISTED she gave me a regular vodka & tonic, even though I saw her pour cherry vodka and use club soda. Like I don't know what I'm drinking. Scene, you sucked!
Pros: They closed
Cons: They opened
