I'm usually a fan of the salvation army thrift store even though they are a bit pricey. However I was very disappointed when they abruptly changed their ""moonlight madness sale"" from 6-9 p.m. to 3-6. The 6 to 9 time was convenient for my work schedule and I looked forward to going to get items for 50% off since some of their items are over price. Especially the clothes. For example The price for a pair of pants average $4.99 and that's the price for very worn or ripped items. I really wish you guys will go back to the original time from 6 to 9 and give the people who have to work a chance at the 50% off prices. more

I Love, Love, Love thrift stores... I've been to all the Salvation thrift stores here in Bakersfield, and this one is the best ""Ming ave"" it's clean and organized.. but.. I find all Salvation arms are pricey!! The pants are 5.00 were if you put a few more Dollars out for pants, you can buy them new, same with shirts! I'm a bargen hunter and I find buying sale items at the mall are cheaper.. I get shirts for 2.99 to 4.99 at te mall on sales racks.. just bought a new pear of Jean's at sears for 7.99.. so I think Salvation Army is good for ""some"" things on sale days. they also say if the tage is a month old, you'll get it half off.. but, I have noticed.. they re tage them as well, Sept for items that are ripped, missing a button, or very warn ect.. so don't try t search for month old items.. they re- tag!! Good wills are the way to go!! more
