I saw Marty Jackson, (Saluda Center -Rock Hill) for 2 yrs following trauma. I was a model client who paid full fees. After 2 yrs, I asked for a fee reduction due to a change in finance. This is where my problems began. Marty came back to me with Guy's comment that I ""may be testing her"". I was stunned. I made an honest request to a person whom I felt knew me quite well. If you knew me, you would knowI have been successful in both work and personal endeavors. I?ve never asked people for much. I wouldn?t ask for money as a way of ?testing someone.? This came from a person who had never spoken to me. I didn't agree and I made it known that I didn't agree. I asked Marty what I needed to do. She asked for fin. records. I offered them. Guy wouldn't accept them. This became a power struggle that turned 2 yrs of therapy into a nightmare. As it turns out: 1)Marty dropped out of the picture (abondonment?).2) I placed a complaint with the SC licensing bd.4)The bd investigated them for 2 yrs. 5) My records at the Saluda Center during the time in question disappeared. 6) They attempted to scapegoat me by supplying to the bd a summary ""in lieu of records"" written by Guy, who wasn't my therapist. His goal was to label me before the board as a ""borderline Personality"" a label unsubstantiated by my history & a label never given me. (Be aware that I was not told what was said about me. I only found out when I hired a PI who got the transcripts of the hearing after the fact.) 7) Guy breached confidentiality. 9) Hayne McMeekin was reprimanded by the medical bd in this case. 10) Their atty, Glen Smith, was reprimanded by the SC Bar for forging documents in my name..11) Other therapists have asked Marty to participate in some kind of ""closure"". Marty ignores them. I don't understand the complexity of this center. All I know is that I am a good person, I have lead a helpful life, I have a beautiful family, I am not a ""BPD"" and I didn't deserve these people. I doubt you do either.
