River Cafe is a wonderful restaurant. It is located under the Brooklyn Bridge and offers an amazing view of Manhattan. Aside from the atmosphere, the food and service are also superb. The menu only offers a $70 prix fixe, which includes 3 courses (plus two small extras). Great place for a special dinner! more

Got a hot date? An anniversary? This is the spot to add a little romance to the evening. Romance doesn't come cheap. Make sure to bring the platinum card. And splurge on a wine from their incredible offerings. You won't be disappointed with the food (delish) or the refined service. For an evening that won't break the bank, try appetizers on the outdoor deck. Be sure to save room for the scrumptious desserts. more

River Cafe 3/20/2006

This is one of the most romantic restaurants in the city (it is actually located in Brooklyn) although a bit too crowded in my opinion. I enjoyed every single one of the dishes from my tasting menu. The waiter was nice enough to let me switch one of the dishes. Make sure you book way in advance if you are planning on dining on the weekend. more

This restaurant sits at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge. Once inside and seated you will be awe struck by the incredible view of Manhattan. The service is impeccable and the menu is incredible. If you want to impress a date, then take them here. It is okay to always take your friends or family, they will love you forever. more
