I attended a Zoom-Webex on 401k mistakes for Chevron employees. Wesley and Steve did a great job. He really helped me understand more about inflation and how it affects my 401k. I'll definitely attend more Zoom-Webex from The Retirement Group. more

My Co-worker invited my to visit online and checked a Webex type presentation on Pension Planning presented by Wesley and Steve. I thought it was very informative. I told my friends at Occidental Petroleum they should view the Zoom-Webex from The Retirement Group too! more

I really liked the Computer webinar (Zoom etc) I received my quarterly reminder to attend for KP employees. I have was invited to attend some other presentations before that make you feel pressured and talk over your head. The Retirement Group made me feel relaxed and provided ideas that can help me now. more

Computer webinar 3/21/2022

After was invited to check out a online video series using the software the Computer webinar (Zoom etc) hosted by Paul/Wesley on Tax planning I still have questions. I thought it was informative but I think I still need help. I just don't understand how inflation affects my retirement? I will call The Retirement Group to set up an appt using Zoom for free 15 minute discussion. more

At lunch three co workers and I had TRG deliver a nice italian meal to each of our houses to view or attend a workshop. We from our houses checked a Webinar on interest rate lump sum Pension Planning presented by Paul/Wesley. I thought it was very informative for Chevron employees. I told my friends they should view the online Zoom webinar (Zoom etc)s from The Retirement Group too! more

Occidental Petroleum employees 3/15/2022

I attended a Zoom-Webex on tax planning for Occidental Petroleum employees. Paul and Brent did a great job. I'll be giving them a call to set up an appointment. I need help with deciding when I should retire from Occidental Petroleum as I have a disabled daughter and want to make sure she is taken care of long after I am gone. more

I don't understand anything 3/14/2022

I really appreciated the Zoom hosted by Paul and Brent. I have attended some before that make you feel pressured and talk over your head like I don't understand anything. The Retirement Group made me feel comfortable and provided ideas that can help me now. Like having a plan in place and understanding Interest Rates and how they affect my Pension at AT&T. more

With layoffs abound at our department at AT&T the CWA invited us to watch a computer live presentation by Steve and Tyson. They discussed tax planning, pension and a few more things I thought could be useful to know more about. I am definitely going to call them to set up an appointment so we can talk about my AT&T Retirement. more

I have been working with Brent for over 25 years. I have always been totally satisfied and impressed by his professionalism, his absolute passion for his work, fantastic results, and his ability to explain the world of AT&T retirement planning. The TRG Professional team looks after my retirement plan and financial well being. Brent and Paul are very knowledgeable about investing. They communicate in an easy to understand manner. I did what I should have done years ago, I called The Retirement Group and set up a meeting with Tyson. I am so happy that he was able to help. I really have not had the best experiences with Financial Advisors in the past. They are intimidating and make me feel like I don't understand anything. I get the best treatment from the team at The Retirement Group. They explain things so simply in the webinars on Youtube and Zoom. The retirement paperwork process from ExxonMobil was so complicated when I retired and Tyson helped me understand it all so easily. I really enjoyed the Cookies they sent me too, it was such a nice gesture even though I don't really eat sweets. more

My Experience 3/7/2022

My experience working with Tyson on my financial objectives, plan and strategy for retirement was really good. I knew that I wanted to work with a 'fee for service' financial planner so I did my homework and Tyson did not disappoint. Many other advisors made me feel like I couldn’t understand what they were saying about my ExxonMobil retirement but Tyson Mavar at The Retirement Group really put me at ease. more

Solid Financial Plan 3/4/2022

My wife and I are in our late 50’s and we wanted to make sure we had a solid financial plan to get us through our retirement years. Our situation is a bit complicated because we have a consulting corporation with investments, however I worked with Brent and we came up with a great plan. We had worked with Michael in the past and recently sought him to update our Chevron retirement date and look at our options on when is the best time to retire. Michael is very thorough in his assessment and asks for all the details so an accurate picture can be made. His communication is very clear and the Team at The Retirement Group are so helpful. more

I enjoy the Q &A webinar 3/2/2022

I recommend Carlos and partner Steve and the TRG Team for anyone looking for an honest retirement advisor. They took the time to customize a plan for me...it was not a cookie cutter retirement plan. They call it a Retirekit and it truly helped me to understand when is the best time to retire from Kaiser Permanente and what Interest Rate affects my Pension. They are willing to listen to what I need (or maybe I should say help me figure out what I want to do when I leave Kaiser. I enjoy the Q &A webinar approach as it really gives me a chance to ask questions. I think some advisors ju st think you are stupid when asking questions, but not TRG. They encourage questions and do so in a way that I feel taken care of and important. I will definitely tell a few friends at Kaiser Permanente that they should call Steve! more

Best wishes for TRG 2/27/2022

TRG and Paul are such an experienced team, I can't find even 1 complaint! I have had my portfolio and insurance with Brent and Paul for over 10 years and am confident they are looking out for my best interests. They are open and transparent about changing market conditions and interest rate increases. I had a chance to meet with Paul and Brent earlier last year. I made the decision to move everything to their firm. I have personally been working in the banking industry for over a decade and have never experienced the type of resources I get from The Retirement Group. The Ebooks and blog articles are top notch. They must have a great content writer. I wonder where they get such fabulous articles? Nevertheless I thoroughly enjoy reading the new articles they post weekly. more

Attended a Zoom-Webex for PG&E employees. I learned a lot about our retirement options which was great. It has me thinking about how I need a plan in place. In fact it is more to think about than you can imagine. Steve Boblis was very helpful! more
