The Reagle Beagle

went to The Reagle Beagle today for the first time, and the beautiful staff greeted me with a roomful of smiles, hellos, and welcomes. The shop is meticulously clean, has a cool vibe, and offers the best hospitality ever. I did not have a scheduled appointment, but no worries here. Lindsey took care of me right away. After a few questions about the cut/style I wanted, she read my mind and cut my hair exactly like I wanted it! Lindsey is amazing! I highly recommend The Reagle Beagle for a laid back, friendly experience with a very professional haircut/style included. The best experience ever! more

The staff is very professional and friendly. The salon is located more west on Detroit in Lakewood, so it's in a quiet clean location .Amanda has been my hair stylist since 2007 and I am a loyal happy customer. They're all very attentive, very helpful and knowledgable. They keep the place very clean, which is always a plus. More importantly, the stylists are very committed to making sure that they do a close to perfect job, and I am never disappointed. It's also good to find a salon where they know your name and trully value your loyalty. I am a Huge fan of The Reagle beagle more

I usually don't ever write reviews but decided to after my short time at The Reagle Beagle. I just moved back to town 3 mos ago after a couple years away and decided to go back to the Beagle for a relaxing experience of a haircut n massage. When I arrived, I asked where my previous stylist was, Heather, and was told she no longer works there and is not the owner anymore. I won't mention my stylist, but felt very rushed through the haircut and kinda treated poorly because i wanted to know where Heather went. My stylist was very cold and quick with me. As for the massage; it was also dull and rushed. I purchased an hour massage, but received a very light pressure massage with way too much talking. I felt I had to try way too hard to relax. I let my feelings be known to the new owner, who said, ""there's no way my stylists or massage therapist would ever rush me"". She did offer me 25% off my next haircut, but I told her no thank you. I feel it's odd that all the reviews on here are all perfect, because that's not even close to what I experienced while I was serviced in there. I miss the old owner and staff from before when I used to go there for my haircuts. First bad review I ever wrote for anything. more

My first time at the Reagle beagle was about 8 months ago. I was very loyal to my other stylist till I found the Reagle beagle. My barber was Josie. She did a fantastic style with my hair and shave. Im glad to see that a salon has a barber that can do Hot shaves on the face. It was more relaxing than the ones i used to get from the barbers. She recommended me to try one of there famous packages. Next time I will try the Executive cut. The atmosphere was great. Very up beat and the girls of the Reagle beagle had the BEST customer service. I already recommended this place to all the guys in my firm to try it out. I will see you all in 3 weeks for my next cut!! Thank you again Josie more

The reagle beagle is a great place for the guys. I like that they have free wi-fi if i need to take care of business too. Jordan has been cutting my hair and does a great job...Everyone has to try the Boss Cut!! It is so relaxing and amazing. Its great that they have groomsman parties too. I am getting married in august and will definately take advantage of the groomsman parties. Every man must start going to the reagle beagle. It is worth the drive no matter where you are coming from!! Thank you girls for they great service! more

I recently moved to Westlake from N.Y. City and heard many people talking about the Reagle Beagle. I went there for the first time and was shocked of how the salon reminded me of N.Y. salon where I used to go. The Haircuts were awesome, The girls are Beyond Beautiful and the customer service was unbelievable. I highly recommend this salon to every man in town. The atmosphere is great. They make you feel right at home. I love the fact that they got a license to serve beer and that they have free wi-fi so I can kick back drink a beer, and do my work online. Im truly impressed with this place and will always be back and will Highly recommend it! more

Rachel has been my stylist for 4 years now and I will never go anywhere else. I absolutely love the Reagle beagle and so do all the guys from my office. We are all so excited that the beer license is coming in a matter of weeks and that it has new owners. They did an amazing job and lifted it up before it went under. I love the atmosphere now. I have been going to The Reagle Beagle for 6 years now. I never make an appointment with a certain stylist because all of them are so talented and do a great job cutting hair. This salon has the best customer service in town. Everyone is so personal and makes you feel like you are at home. They recently, in spring had new owners take over and completely remodeled the whole salon. It looks unbelievable. I recommend this salon to all the guys in town Don't believe the negative reviews. They are just jealous and lonely. Good luck girls and I'm sending everyone i know to The Reagle Beagle!! more

My name is John. I went to Amanda at This salon for five years. Hey member me? Prob not. I called for 6 straight days cuz I had an interview. I got no call back from the front desk or amanda. I have no idea who Josie is. Heather the old owner actually apologized for them and now I go to The Man Cave in Westlake. These chicks sucked at how they treated me. They should not be braggin in the slightest. Really dissapointing after 5 years of business every two weeks. Keep talking yourself up chicks. You are gonna need it. Wow. more

Let me 1st start by telling the 1 guy that left the bad review that if you are otherwise a great person. You should really try them again. And for what it is worth. I DO NOT watch sports, NOR do I drink. So if anyone would have a leg to stand on accusing them of a gimmick, I would have to say I do. yet that is the furthest thing from the truth. Let's get down to why they deserve all the praise in the world. I have been going there since 2007 and I am blown away for the level of heart they put into their clients. And I am not speaking about all the people there. Honestly, there are a couple girls that have been there that just work there and do not offer much that reflects the true heart of this place. The beating hearts of this salon are Anita and Josie. Anita is such a sweetheart and she does EVERYTHING in the world to make people happy. In fact, I think I can even accuse her of caring a little too much sometimes. This woman would open the salon up at 8am if a client needed to come in before it opened. Or Josie who seems so attentive to the clients. I was thrilled when I heard that Anita took over the Salon. That girl puts in so many hours that she was that Salon as far as I was concerned. I even talked my brother into going there and he is not much into getting pampered. If you are a guy that likes being pampered and can afford the modest fee they ask for their ""house cut"" or ""Boss cut"" then you fall in love with this place. It's not for everyone. Example; My father, he would see their services as gimmicks because he is old school and honestly speaking, just does not get it or is hip to the strength of what they are trying to do. I rarely accept any free coffee,pop,etc when I am there. But I totally get it that guys love that stuff. When you factor in Anita's heart into the equation. People would have to be crazy to not love this place. Once again, I agree that it is not for everyone. The younger girls do not impress me one bit. I don't look at woman that way, Oh, unless it is Jessica Beil. :-) The guy that gave the bad review. I would be willing to have you go back, I will EVEN pay for your hair cut. Get it from either Anita or Josie. They put the most heart into their customers. Sorry, I just do not know enough about the other girls to endorse them. By the way. Josie is amazing with clippers, that takes true skill and she now gives me razor cuts to sharpen all the hairlines. I LOVE it. This is a place for guys that do not mind paying a little more for something totally worth it. But if you are a no nonsense type person that does not like extra's. Then go to best cuts. lol. this review was LONG overdue. Once again, I cannot speak for the entire staff there, but can tell you without a doubt. Anita and Josie are pure souls who really care about what they do. I am even willing to bet that Anita personally feels awful to even see one person leave a bad review. Trust me buddy, give it a try again and if you are a realistic person who is not too uptight in life, you will truly feel different. Even the best places have bad days! more

First of all I have to say being NEW to the area I was highly impressed with the service I had at The Reagle Beagle. I am actually writing because I was confused by some of these comments. This guy on the bottom says what's the gimmick? YEAH beer- cuts- hot chicks with talent??? What the hell is not to get. The place is new and they kept it simple - that's what guys like duh??? Try ANY other salon for a men's cut and it's at least 30-35 bucks so 28 bucks is a hell of a deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET REAL HAIR WASHING IS NOT MANDITORY - nothin in life is free!!!!!!!!!! The Reagle Beagle is the best place to go to when you want to relax and get a great haircut! The stylists are not only hot but they know what they are doing. It is relaxing and just a fun place to be. The service in the front is always great and they aren't to bad to look at. When I went in everyone was so nice and it was like it was all about me. I recommened the housecut! You not only get a haircut but massages and everything. Trust me I thought it was going to be kinda weird but th neck massage was the best....every guy needs this. Altlanta Matthew does not know what he is talking about! This is the best place...BEER BABES AND TV! what more does a guy need. You can't go anywhere in the cleveland area and get a haircut like this and the prices are not bad at all! I highly recommend every guy trys this place more

This place has been open for a few years now. It needs a little updating, but it is still pretty unique and interesting place. The ""beer"" now comes in like 1/2 (one half) oz sample size cups. They need to renovate it a little bit,, like fix the trash can, have the air conditioning work in the summer and the heat in the winter.. However, they still have a lot of friendly, seyx stylists with nice voices who are actually give pretty decent haircuts. Unfortunately they don't wear bikinis, but I think management should look into it. If you are really picky and don't like your cut, for some reason, well at least maybe you still had a good time! I think their motto of ""it's not you it's the haircut"" is indirectly demeaning and stupid. I took the recommendation from a guy at work that has decent hair/style. The first red flag was when they didn't start the session off with a wash to get the product out of my hair before cutting it. (Hell, even Hair Cuttery washes your hair before hand.) The second red flag was their emphasis on being able to drink alcohol and watch ESPN. (How critical are you of a woman when you've got beer goggles on or when she lets you keep the TV on? That's just brilliant marketing at the expense of quality.) The third red flag was the hard sell on a $5 upcharge to wash your hair after the cut. (I was going to the gym afterwards, so I passed; I wished I hadn't so she could have seen all the patches & sprigs she missed due to product.) \r \r If you have a really simple cut to request, really can't wait to get your next beer in you, and are all about gimmicks, then fine, go and check them out. Otherwise, steer clear of this place. You'll never see me there again. Pros: They're open late Cons: I didn't get the cut I wanted. more
