The Pumpkin Patch itself is a cute place to bring kids during the day to enjoy a nice October evening, but if you're considering to stay until the evening to go into the Field of Screams, I really wouldn't recommend it. We waited in line for over an hour and had paid $10 so I really expected to be scared out of my mind. Did not happen. First of all the people in the line in front of us were obnoxious, loud, and practically humping each other, like some high school musical orgy. Seriously, had they never been in public before tonight? But then we finally got in the maze and though the idea was a good one (get clueless people lost in a spooky dark maze) it lost its charm within the first ten minutes. The scarers inside had some cool costumes, but it was as if they weren't even trying! Come on guys, is your only trick to jump out and say Bah! and hiss at us? Sorry, that's just not scary! It was a little startling the first five times, but after that, you could predict exactly where people were going to jump out at you next. And then this Big Finish that we were expecting just never happen. It petered out and all the scarers seemed to have left to go home, as if it was past their bedtime and had clocked out for the night with people still in the maze! What the Funk? Not cool, Field of Screams. I almost asked for my ten dollars back, so I could have gone to a theater pub to watch Harry Potter and drink a couple pints of Hammerhead. That would have been a much better use of my night.
Pros: Kind of spooky in the corn field at night.
Cons: Long wait; high price; the scarers weren't even trying
