Love this place! 3/24/2010

Great place to watch the Huskies in the Sweet 16! Pros: Food, crowd. Cons: Parking sometimes more

Great little tavern 11/10/2009

I like the Pumphouse. Easy access to I-405. No kids. Really good pub food. Pros: Great pub food, good microbrew selection Cons: Very crowded at lunch, basic selection of liquor more

Great Food & Customer Service 9/19/2008

The Pumphouse is a relaxed welcoming spot to grab a bite & a beverage. Service is fast and friendly. The Arthur Murray Dance School is next door and you can always count on being able to have lunch or dinner before or after dance lessons. The Pumphouse has a fun variety of wines & beers, and a pretty extensive menu, lots of familiar comfort foods. ""Word of Mouth"" famous for their chili, great on a cool, cloudy days. Pretty great burgers...the thing I like the most is you have no problem ordering the food the way you want it. You know how alot of places give you grief if you want something special, but not here, they are happy to accomodate. Pros: Have it your way - special orders no problem Cons: Parking can be dicey more

Thursday Night Football! 12/4/2007

The Pumphouse really saved me this week. Who would have thought last year that the Green Bay/ Dallas game would have meant so much when they decided to put it on the NFL network (which I tried to order from home, but I guess Comcast was inundated with requests). Anyway, this is a great place to catch Thursday night games. Lot's of good beers on tap, clean faciilities, and a surprisingly warm and friendly atmosphere (not rowdy). They had enough TVs that even with the Gonzaga game and the NFL on, there was still room for a crowd of people watching soccer (of all things) in the back corner. Great French Fries too (I am a conneisseur). Pros: NFL Network, French Fries, Friendly staff and Aptrons, Clean Cons: Gets very busy, no one under 21 allowed more

Best Place to Watch Football in Seattle Area 9/26/2007

The Pumphouse is a unique mix of old and new ,offering the cozy feel of a neighborhood pub, illuminated by 8 glistening HDTVs with every NFL or College football game imaginable. There are multiple booths, tables, and bars from which you can watch the game. The food is tasty and neat, especially the burgers and the fries are always hot and perfectly cooked. They have a ton of beers on tap and a liquor bar as well for when your team is losing. The waitstaff is friendly and always willing to oblige your request to watch a game. What's on TV works on a first come first serve so you might have to ask to be seated where you can see what game is already on or in an area where no one seems to be watching a TV. I try to wacth football at home, but if I need to get my fantasy fix and am stuck with the Steelers blowing out the 49ers on Fox, I mosy on down to he Pumphouse and catch my players in action. The downside to this is I usually end up staying for the later games as well, but I can't imagine a better place to be spend a Sunday Afternoon. Pros: 8 HDTVS with NFL package, cozy atmosphere, friendly waitstaff and patrons, clean bathrooms Cons: Sometimes crowded (especially during big games), The Salsa more

Great neighborhood bar 9/26/2007

This is a great place to watch sports, eat good food, and drink great beer. There is a large selection of local beers on tap including a couple rare ones from Georgetown brewery. The atmosphere is quite casual and very fun. It has a neighborhood feel and the waitstaff calls most people by their first name. The burgers are truly the ""best in Bellevue"" as their menu boasts. They have all sports games all the time, you just have to ask someone to put it on for you. For a first time customer, I felt very at home and have gone back again and again. Consistency is their best attribute. The only downside... it is a small place and very busy, but worth the wait for a table! Pros: burgers, quick, sports Cons: parking, loud more

Do Not Watch Sports here! 1/4/2006

Now that all the bars are smoke-free, there is zero reason to go to the Pumphouse. The food is mediocre and over-priced, the staff is unbelieveably rude, and it's near impossible to watch a game. While they have TVs (some of their ads say ""big screen"" - a blatant exaggeration) they are poorly positioned and the staff doesn't even know how to operate them. Requests to change a channel (even if every TV is showing the same channel) are met with sneers, insults, and stalling. Truly the worst experience I have ever had during any season. Cons: , rude staff, bad for sports more

Good food, smoke free, loud. 7/10/2005

Combine good food, a smoke free atmosphere, and the sports bar thing, and you have a unique place. It's usually busy, but you have the option of sitting at the bar to have dinner if need be. The lean patty burger is excellent, as are the wings and salads. Fun beer choices. Prices are reasonable. Don't come here if you're looking for quiet time. For some bizarre reason there's always a large group or person being annoying loud - this is aggravated further by tables being placed so close together and the hostess having a tendency to seat you next to the annoyance. Just demand another seat, even if you get 'tude. You're the paying customer. Pros: quality, smoke free, fun Cons: annoying clientele, loud more

Not a great sports bar if you're...into sports 3/18/2005

The food at the Pumphouse is decent. I would disagree with the assertion that they're proficient with their satellite system (they were absolutely convinced there was only one game, even flipped past the other game several times saying ""see?""). The TV placement is non-ideal, with an emphasis on corners, so corner seating means you're under one TV and fairly far from any other. The place was crowded and despite sweet sixteen games, largely uninterested in the outcome of the game. Seemed like most folks were there to have a little dinner and conversation, not watch the game. Personally, when I'm going to a sports bar and I call ahead to get a table, I'd hope I could get a decent view of a screen, the game they promised they'd show, and an exciting atmosphere worthy of NCAA games. more

Great Sports Bar! 9/8/2004

The Pumphouse is a great place to get fast friendly service! At times it is rather crowded but I would much rather eat in a packed restaurant than an empty one... They also have a wide range of sports games which they are more than happy to put on a t.v. for me! Any place that can have 6 different sports games on at the same time is a true sports bar to me. How could I ask for anything more? Not only does the Pumphouse have excellent service and many t.v.'s they also have a great selection of beers on tap, some local some not. I suggest you try it soon! Pros: good atmosphere, good food more

Great place to watch a game 9/7/2004

The Pumphouse is a great place to watch a game, have a small meeting or just sit & talk. GREAT service (yes, the staff DOES know how to work the satelite system!!), lots of beers on tap, good food, non smoking and very convenient location. Also, they now have an excellent Sunday breakfast. Pros: Great service, location, ambience more
