The Prado at Balboa Park

The Prado at Balboa Park has probably the best outdoor patio in all of San Diego. It over looks a beautiful garden in Balboa Park. I have eaten here dor lunch and dinner. The menu is many options and I would recommend any of them. The wait staff was also very firendly. This is a great place to take visitors from out of town or if you have never been here you will also be pleasantly surprised. The prices are not of out of this world either. There also have some specialty drinks that were very good, I recommend the Mojitio or Sangria. Pros: Great food, great view if dining on on back patio. Right by all the museums Cons: Sometimes the wait can be well over an hour. Parking isnt that close if you find it, may have to walk quite a bit. more

Try and time your dinner here so you can have a table on the patio at sunset! The exotic orange martinis here are as good-looking as they are tasting! more
