World Class homemade ice cream 3/23/2006

I have been going to the Plush Horse since I was a kid. The ice cream here is all homemade and there is nothing like it. They have a huge variety of flavors that changes throughout the season. The cones are enormous and the price is average. They have recently expanded to a location in Orland park, but I love the location in Palos because it is in a old home in a secluded forested area. So I will probably continue to drive out there to get my ice cream. more

The Plush Horse is sooooo cozy with some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted! I'm glad that they make their own ice cream but you know that means it's more fattening that other places! They are always packed in the summer and they stay with a classic theme. You will find people 50 to 5 months here for that home made style ice cream that's reasonable priced. more

Excellent Ice Cream 8/24/2005

The Plush Horse is a cute little ice cream place with some of the best ice cream around! It is all homemade-rich and creamy! It reminds me of my Uncle who would take me out for ice cream there and order double scoops- I was only 5! The place hasn't changed-it is still quaint but reputable. It's a hidden gen of the south suburbs. more
