The Pines began as a vision, which steadily shaped itself into reality through the dedication of avid golfers, filling the void left by Morgantown Country Club's closure. Pro designer Edmund Ault was engaged to lay out our 18-hole championship course, and carefully crafted its contours around the beautiful rolling hills of West Virginia. Incorporated as a private club in 1968, it opened officially to shareholders in 1970, and to this day is considered the best golfing experience in the Morgantown area. In addition to its course, the Pines offers a driving range and putting green, a winter simulator, heated swimming pool, clubhouse facilities with lockers and showers, a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and banquet facilities.
