I used to live downtown and enjoyed The Pie (on the U campus) regularly. It was a fun atmosphere, and even if we took take-out, it was the best pizza I'd ever had. When I moved out to South Jordan, I was sad that I couldn't get The Pie anymore. Then when they built a location out here, I was thrilled. However, there are many reasons why I won't go there anymore. For starters, the restaurant itself is cramped and dingy. The lamps hang so low above the tables that I, my husband, and a friend's child (on separate occasions) have all bumped our heads on them trying to get out of the booths. And their delivery service is ridiculous! They have a seriously small delivery area (like two miles, tops) but then they ""pick and choose"" desirable locations outside of their delivery area (the eBay offices and Daybreak) to deliver to. For instance, I live just one block outside their delivery area, so they won't deliver to me, but they will drive literally right past my house to deliver to Daybreak (I live inside the entrance to Daybreak, but not in Daybreak proper). Does this make any sense? I complained about it, but the decision was upheld by the manager and the owner as ""reasonable"". I see no reason in it whatsoever. Now, if I'm really craving a pizza, I'll make it myself, thanks.
