Data Recovered, Viruses Removed, Peace of Mind 11/10/2010

We learned the hard way that you can’t be sure of a backup until you try to restore it. We thought we were doing the right thing but found that a virus had tricked us into a false sense of security. So when our server crashed we discovered we had a corrupt backup as well. The technicians removed our hard drives and performed their magic. They were able to recover our data, remove the viruses and rebuild our server. \r They then implemented a backup and recovery system that was easy to maintain. They used new Cloud Virus and Internet Security technology to ensure that we don’t become infected again. We thought our business had been lost. But the Personal Computer Specialist put us back on solid ground. They now perform remote monitoring to keep us in optimal condition. Now we have peace of mind.\r more

Wireless Connection Mystery Solved!!! 11/10/2010

We had several technicians come to try and solve our wireless networking problem. They all failed and left scratching their heads. \r We called The Personal Computer Specialist. Immediately they saw the problem. We had glass walls separating our offices. This caused the signal to be compromised. Why the other technicians didn’t see that I don’t know. The only reason we wanted wireless was because we thought it was trendy. PCS told us that if we used cable not only would the connection be stable but it would increase performance 100%. He was right! The next time we will call The Personal Computer Specialist first. We suggest you do the same.\r more

TOOK MY MONEY 6/9/2009

I live in San Diego and my computer needed in home service. I had the miss fortune of having the PC Specialist visit me re a repair. This guy is an psychotic and dangerous! He also has a very neat system to triple bill customers. He will give you a low estimate over the phone. Then when he shows up he will tell you your whole system is corrupted and try and sell you a bunch of software. He sells the software for huge mark up. And then he bills you again for this install. He is the biggest con artist I have ever encountered in the computer field. Pros: NONE! Cons: HE IS A CON! more

The best technical support for a business novice. 1/21/2008

I didn?t have a clue as to what was wrong with my computer. It was slow and I had to reboot often. I didn?t want to tear it all down and take it all over town to get repaired. To tell you the truth I was ready to buy a new one. I made one call and all my problems were solved. I had the viruses and spy ware removed and they installed software so it wouldn?t return. They were patient, knowledgeable and very professional. I told all my friends and now we feel we have an inside connection for all our computers issues. I am proud to recommend The PC Specialist to anyone who has a computer be it home or in business.\r C.
