They have people here that think they are smart and are making a difference with their poems that they sit and write for hours. But in reality they are not that good, I went there and after a few drinks when up there and just rambled for a few minutes and everyone thought I was like the greats poet they hear. more

Poetry Venue 9/16/2005

The first Wednesday of every month, the Loft hosts a poetry reading called Poetry at the Loft. It feels much more LA than Redlands when you're inside at these small gatherings. There's a small open mic and then a feature poet, many of whom are nationally known figures. The venue itself is a large place, but the loft that's used for the poetry is much more intimate.
