I frequent Peasant and the Pear often and I have never had a bad meal. Love the owner, Rod Worth. He knows how to bring it to the table. Consider this: Looking for a small intimate place for coworkers?? Ask to use the padio.\r \r Peasant and the Pear - One of my favorites! more

Vegetarian? 8/16/2009

I do like this place, but since I'm a pesco vegetarian (salmon only, & no shellfish) I find the options are always really limited. Vegetarians get very tired of pasta options with vegetables which just about every place with little imagination tends to prepare for us. Its unfortunate since its a pretty cool spot...... all my veggie friends say the same thing about it. Pros: nice place Cons: very little choice for vegetarians more

Pleasant atmosphere, great servers, good wine selection 2/28/2008

We've been itching to eat at this place for awhile and finally made it there this week. It was excellent, and we can hardly wait to return. Although I""d never heard of a French version of Paella (without seafood - impossable!) it was really tasty - I kind of missed the crunch bottom which is so typical of the Spanish Paellas' but I would eat it again. Try the Preston of Dry Creek Barbera -- what a fabulous surprise!\r This is the kind of place I""d like to just hang out at the bar and people watch on a weekend night, or sit outside when the weather warms up. Of course that would include some of the excellent food, wines, and dessert too. Pros: Wine selection, service, food Cons: Parking maybe? more
