The Pampering Zone

After 16 years of pimple frustration and many different treatments, I decided to visit Lilly Fuentes of The Pampering Zone in Round Rock, TX. I have now been visiting her on a monthly basis for 6 months, working on blemishes (pimples) and hyper-pigmentation spots. As far as the blemishes, my face has not looked this good since before my first pimple popped up at age 12! The hyper-pigmentation spots are slowly lightening as well. I just moved to Texas and have been trying to find a stylist to replace my beloved hair expert of 15 years. Well, I found her! Her name is Eileen and she is such a sweetheart. She took a lot of time asking what my wants and needs were for my hair. Over the next 3 hours of cutting and coloring she was very chatty and pleasant to be around. I found her to be one of the nicest young people I have met in a long time. My color is beautiful, both highs and lows and my cut done to perfection. I have had nothing but compliments on my hair for the past month! Not only is she great at what she does, she is sweet breath of fresh air, don't mistake her shyness as anything else, she will warm up to you before you know it! I have to say that I have never worked with a team so hardworker than my team (Shamarie, Eileen Fuentes- hair designers, David Diaz -co-owner and Sandra Casanova - fitness trainner. I feel completelly satisfied and proud in how they handle even the most difficult clients and the most difficult situations. As everybody knows you can provide the best quality service and still there will be someone not satisfied with your services. My team is the one that rock this business and I have to thank them every second that I have. Shamarie is so experienced, so clean, professional, educated, and always with a smile for everybody it doesn't matter how difficult her day is been. Eileen is so dinamic, great planner, organize, well spoken and this two girls really know how to be teamplayers. Sadra Casanova do the best fitness trainnings I have ever experienced, she created a boot camp that challenge every single muscle of your body. As a professional her availability and commitment for her clients never end. I have seen her at 5 am in the morning and at 10pm trainning from Monday to Sunday the whole week. David Diaz is always on top of bringing the highest quality customer service. From buying Champagne, diferent varieties of wines, turkey rolls, crackers with gourmet cheese to put the glasses of wine to be frosted in the freezer he don't forget not even one detail. I feel that this is the reason why after 3 years operating we have 25 5 start reviews. I also have to thank all my clients that took the time to sit down and create an account to share their experiences with the Citysearch clients. Even clients that take the time to write negative things that we need to improve, we value them amazingly since your opinion is what make us understand in what areas we need to keep working to satisfy your needs. Being a friend and client of Shamarie's I was very impressed by her desire to pitch in with her fellow salon staff. An incident had occured where a client was unhappy due to the stylist having another appointment. Pros: Willing to bend over backwards to please a client!!!! more

I was very disappointed in this salon. I made an appointment using their internet salon booking service. I received a confirmation of my appointment two days before the scheduled visit and responded back to the confirmation as required. more

I found my new hair stylist at the Pamering Zone. Her name is Eileen and she is not only adorable, but she actually listens to what you want and then proceeds to provide you with that exact hairstyle and color. She did a great job putting in my high and low lights and gave me a super cool cut while preserving my length, which no one has been able to do. The last time we had some snacks and some wine and it was a truly relaxing, pampering experience. I recommend her to anyone! more

Before coming here the stylist I used to go to would always cut off more hair than I wanted and pull my hair when she combed it. I saw this salon on this web site one night so I thought I would give it a try. I made an appointment with Eilene and she is such a sweet and talented lady. She did exactly what I wanted and has the most gentle hands. This is the first time I was not in pain at a salon! Her hands won me over I will be coming back for my 2 month trim that I made. I recieved the most relaxing shampoo and scalp massage.Shamarie lathered up my scalp over and over and completely massaged all the tension spots on my head.By the time she was finished I was completely relaxed and practically melting in to the shampoo bowl. I am new to the area and just discovered ""Shamarie"" at The Pampering Zone a few months ago and was soo pleased with her service.Unfortunately, I waited a while to re-schedule and did not have her contact info. I had discovered that the business had closed down. I was at a loss as for the owner did not give us any information. Pros: Shamarie's customer service was amazing! Freshly divorced and wanting some major changes a friend told me to go see Eileen at the Pampering Zone. I put myself in her hands to see what she could come up with. I have brown hair to my shoulders in a blunt cut. We had some coffee and chatted about the changes I wanted and then it was time for the ""magic"" to happen. The shampoo was more like a massage. It was the best. Eileen added some subtle layers to my hair and took some of the bulk out. Then she added some honey and caramel ""sun kisses"" to my hair. After I was styled I asked her if she could give me some makeup tips with some of my stuff in my makeup bag. I walked in there a worn out divorced mother of two and left there fresh and alive and feeling 10 years younger. My confidence is back and I am ready to face the world again. Eileen, I don't know how to thank you for all your talent and understanding and I think you are so amazing and so gifted. Thank you thank you thank you! OMG I can't stop looking in the mirror! I just moved here from California and was in desperate need of a root touch up. I heard about Eileen from a friend who had only glowing things to say about how awesome she was and let me tell you was she right!!!! I was very pleased when I walked in and it was super cute!!! Eileen offered me drinks and we had a great conversation. The time really flew by as we chated about life and my hair concerns.. she recommeneded some great products and even did this special conditioning and shine treatment that was AMAZING!!! My hair is silky smooth, you would never guess i just bleached my hair!!! After an amazing shampoo which made me want to stay for ever lol after all was said in done my hair was amazing... more then i could ever ask for!! I will definetly go back and i will tell all my friends about how amazing eileen is and i highly recommend her.. you cannot go wrong!!!! I have been searching for a new spa and salon to call home. So over the last few months I have had the pleasure of attending a few spas in Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown and Houston. Many of the spas are well staffed, offer a nice variety of products and have invested great energy and finances in making the environment breath taking. Nice, but not always what is needed to make a service outstanding. A few weeks ago I came across The Pampering Zone in Round Rock, TX. The spa is in a quaint little wood framed home on the edge of historic Round Rock. The decor is not award winning so if you are looking for a ""Zen"" type of spa with a lot of bells and whistles this will not do for you. If you are looking for staff that really care about their clients and want to provide you with the best experience they have to offer - you must give The Pampering Zone a try. It was so nice not to have to worry about rubbing elbows with the ""snooty and famous"" everyone seem like old friends. Spa owner, Lilly, is on a mission to get our skin healthy and boy she knows her stuff. Eileen is on the same mission with hair, she is creative, a great listener and will let you know if you might want to rethink your design request. ""Not everybody can or should look like Demi Moore""! Well said Eileen, Thank you! Eileen will offer many suggestions, takes her time while cutting and continues to ask questions all during the process. Lilly, has dedicated her self to the spa industry and obviously has an outstanding knowledge of skin care. I can't wait to try all of the services in an environment that allows me to be me. I visited this salon last week and I found my new home! I was greeted by Eileen with a smile and was offered a beverage before I even sat down. Eileen gave me a wonderful shampoo that almost put me to sleep. She was very gentle with my hair when she combed it and styled it. I have never had such a great hair cut in my LIFE! She listened to what I wanted and performed the cut with such confidence and skill. The salon is very cozy, extremely clean and is decorated with such neat furniture and decor. They have a special bar-like setup that the stylists can mix their color in front of the clients. How neat! When I first walked in I noticed that it didn't smell like chemicals, instead it smelled like a fresh clean scent. Eileen introduced me to Lily, the owner and esthetician. Lily is very knowledgable and invited me to take a peek at the facial and massage areas and gave me a free skin consultation of what facial service I should go with. I like the fact that there is a lot of privacy. I was amazed and I know I will be back in a few weeks to get another haircut. I am so excited to have my facial this week with Lily! WOW! Trisha is the most amazing facialist around! She made me feel so comfortable, and explained EVERYTHING! My skin has never looked so clear and soft. My husband even commented on my skin. I am a recovering acne sufferer. I have had countless facials and been to a lot of different salons. I know longer have acne, but still like to work on other skin issues and like to use clean natural ingrediants on my skin. The Pampering Zone uses some of the best products I've seen (and I've seen a lot)! They were even written up in the Times to be superb products! Pros: Great location and service Cons: none:) more

After a nightmare experience at a Facials salon that I'm not even going to mention, I had the worst allergic reaction in my life; a friend of mine recomended me to see Lily at The Pampering zone because of her knowledge and type of products that she uses. My face was swollen and even looked burned at some points...I was even scared to go to another facials salon, until I met Lily, after analizing and explaining my skin's current situation, She started explaining step by step a healing regime for me. She sounded so profesional that I decided to follow her advice, and thanks God I did, after a short period of time I started to feel not the same but better.
