Groomer 5/7/2015

Bad experience with the groomer. Her skill set is limited to very simple average dogs that don't require detail specific cut. She denies her lack of experience and need for more training. Paid for a bad hair cut but a great bath. Owner did not support the customer. And sided with the groomer. Her time was more important then customers experience and satisfaction. more

Difficulty finding a certain dog food. 6/7/2012

I am looking for a specific dog food and I called every dog food store in Saratoga, Schenectady, and Montgomery county and Pampered Pooch was the only store that actually had the food. The gentleman was nice enough to hold the dog food for me. more

Great Store! 4/5/2011

I live in Colonie, but recently stopped here on my way home from Saratoga. This store is terrific! They have a wide selection of dogfood, including the high-end stuff that isn't available at PetSmart. The brand I buy was a few dollars less than I usually pay. There was a great selection of dog toys, dog treats, rawhide, etc.--all at good prices! Plus, the owner insisted on carrying my 44-pound bag of food to my car--great service! it's a little out of the way but definitely worth the trip! more

Lacking 11/11/2005

Not the normal type of pet shop you would expect. For such a big building, the amount of supplies and type are lacking extremely. Fish selection with supplies are limit, dogs and cat aren't sold in the store. However, on a positive note the staff is very friendly and willing to do their best to answer your questions as well as help you find your item and or provide an alternate if they don't have your first choice. more
