Nice place for a local show 9/26/2005

This is a very small theater, which can be a great thing, depending on what you are seeing! The small size makes it quite charming, but it also unfortunately limits the type of shows in the theater. It's great for kids shows or comedy. The last larger production we saw was a bit limited by the size. The theater is beautiful, and it is nice to have it so close, but parking is tough. However, the difficult parking situation is more than made up for by the number of fabulous restaurants in the area you can eat at before or after the show. more

Especially good for the kids 8/20/2005

We've gone to several shows at the palace theater in the past couple of years. It's a nice little theater in downtown manchester. We've mostly gone to see locally produced shows, but those prove to be a good way to spend a night. The theater is small enough you can see well no matter where you sit. Easily accessible restrooms and a little concession stand in the lobby. The tickets are a little pricey but thats partly because of costs to keep theses shows going. The parking is not great, the parking garage is pretty difficult to get in and out of, but that's the only inconvenience. more

Comedy is great! 8/18/2005

We saw The North End Comedy show here- it was extremely funny. The Palace has always been very clean whenever we have gone for other shows, as well. Easy to get to, and plenty of parking on the street- makes it a great night out. Plus, either before or after, you can walk to Elm Street for plenty of food and drink! People working there are always curtious and willing to help you (even with over the phone ticket orders). more
