What the????? 5/22/2009

Well, my wife and I went out to breakfast with our 2year old daughter to celebrate our 5yr anniversary. We both got the orange juice (she had the medium which was a little bigger than a shot glass) My large was $4.60 a glass....um our waitress forgot to mention that! Already in shock over the prices on the menu we ordered very basic, I had the buttermilk pancakes with sausage patties....little did I know the the sausage was an extra $4.95, I thought the pancakes came with a side the way our waitress offered us sausage, bacon or ham. When we left my wife had a full plate of ""the worst potatoe pancakes EVER"" and a $35.00 bill. My 2years olds meal, which we ordered off the kids menu was over $9.00 alone. I will NEVER EVER go to this place again. When my wife asked to see a manager they told her it wouldn't do much good anyway. I will tell everyone I know to stay away from that over priced place!\r We could have eaten at Dennys and walked out full, satisfied and with $15.00 more in our pockets. Pros: ...... Cons: Everything.....including the 3 sets of doors just to get in. more

The absolute best cup of coffee anywhere and a great breakfast! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY 11/19/2006

I love this place. I am there almost every Sunday for brunch with my mom and we never get bored with the menu. The only draw back is that on the weekends, it can get very busy. But the staff is always well prepared and friendly. They can move things along without making you feel rushed at all. Even Marv Levy brings his Sunday paper and has breakfast here. The food is outstanding. The Dutch Baby is my favorite treat and now I can even assemble it myself! (The waitress will do it for those new to the process.) The peach crepes are delicious with a touch of brandy, the potatoe pancakes are very good with applesauce and syrup and they have pea meal bacon too! The coffee is the best anywhere and is served with real cream. I guarentee you will not be disappointed with this place. PS. In response to a previous review, the carafe of OJ is so expensive because it is hand squeezed from real oranges. It's delicious and worth every red cent! Pros: Amazing place for Sunday brunch, comfy booths too! Cons: Can be busy on the weekends more

Are you SERIOUS? 1/12/2003

Aside from the pancakes, the rest of the food was disappointing. I'll start with the $9.10 carafe of orange juice. When I saw that price, I thought we were on Hollywood Blvd. Everything on the menu sounded so good, I didn't know what to choose. But after our impatient waitress kept glaring at me, I selected the raspberry crepes. I asked did it come with raspberry topping; she looked at me like I was a Ralien. It came with it alright, for an additional $3.50- that she failed to mention, but printed it up on the bill like we wouldn't notice. My fiance' ordered a seafood omelet. This man has a healthy appetite, but he was gagging after one bite. The ever-classy imitation lobster meat was too much for him to handle. The invisible shrimp couldn't fit on a toothpick. Very disappointing experience! Pros: cost, flavor, cost Cons: pancakes more

Great Food 8/22/2002

The food here is terrific, but when I tried one weekend to place a ""to go"" order, the host got a alitle snotty and said they don't accept ""to go"" orders on the weekend. Aside from that, I was always very happy with their service. Pros: Good food, friendly waitresses Cons: Impolite host more
