I thought that this cute cafe had potential but from the moment that I sat down, it was a disappointment. THe service was slow on a not-busy Sunday morning and the food was bland and poorly presented. Bland is actually kind. I had an omelette with chorizo which came with home fries and toast. The toast, clearly not made at the restaurant, was the best part of the meal. The omelette looked more like scrambled eggs and contained very little of the chorizo. The homefires were luke-warm and had the consistency of overboiled potatoes before you mash them. They didn't appear to have been fried at all. Again, the food was so bland that I almost felt compelled to go back into the kitchen and show the clearly ignorant cook how to use salt. My companion couldn't even finish his eggs, they were so tasteless, and he had to peel the fat off his minute portion of bacon before it was palatable. On the upside, the menu features some unique breakfast items. This place could have potential, but it needs someone who can actually cook and present the dishes listed on the menu.
Pros: menu has potential, located near T stop in Brookline Village
Cons: Terrible Food, Slow Service
