Poor Food Quality 2/3/2012

We had party of 17 for birthday dinner reservation. What a loser restaurant. We had just gotten our salad/soup & bread when suddenly the food showed up at the table. We expected time to eat our salad/soup & bread yet the entrees suddenly showed up and cold too. We could only taste the marinara sauce as the entrees were so bland. I and others were very disappointed on the poor quality of the food. They couldnt even keep the entrees hot prior to serving? Wont recommend this place to anyone. It is a waste of your time and money. more

Love the food....and the service is on top...lots of polite, efficient young people. Not as happy in the "noisy" room but the front area is just my cup of tea.... And, I like that they have smaller portions for seniors. more

The plus I suppose is that I don't have to do the dishes here, but I don't like feeling rushed through my meal and the wait to get in here is ludicrous! more

Good food, bad wait 5/2/2006

I've never gone here and waited less than 45 minutes and it's usually longer. Once seated, they turn the table pretty quickly, which would be a plus for me with small children, but after waiting so long it feels like gip. If you do manage to go on an off night and get a table, it has a fun atmosphere (though loud) and the mzithra cheese spaghetti is delicious, as is the cheesy bread if you aren't counting calories. more

Their menu reads as above with no capital letters. That is how this restaurant runs their business, casual and inexpensive. Their food is good, although their variety is lacking. You can pretty much count on every meal being pasta. They don't take reservations but its worth the wait for the atmosphere that they create like old time San Francisco. We usually order to go meals. They have a parking spot right in front for to go pickups...and don't forget to request the spumonti ice cream that usually comes with the meal when you sit down to eat. They won't include it in your to go meal unless you ask. more
