I've stayed here five times already. I live in Houston, but have a roomate and we live in a stale boring normal apartment. I come here to treat my girlfriend and I to a wonderful weekend of fun and relaxation, and get some privacy away from my roomate. With that said, this is a very nice hotel. I'll start with the room first. The basic guestroom room is big. The decor is very chic and modern but nowhere near overboard. There is plenty of comfortable seating. The window is from floor to ceiling wall to wall. Don't worry they have blackout curtains. When the blackout curtains are closed, your room will be completly dark in the middle of the afternoon on a cloudless day. There is a flat panel highest definition television with plenty of channels. The lighting is completly controlable. You can have it sexy and dim or sunlight bright in your room. The bed is more comfortable than a Temporpedic or Sleep Number. If you have something to do early in the morning I feel sorry for you, because I guarantee you will not want to get out of the bed. The bathroom is very nice with plenty of huge soft towels and robes. There is only a shower. The shower is very sexy. I believe it is designed to fit two at a time, as well as one. Theres no door on the shower so the entire bathroom fills up with steam like a sauna, it's sexy. I almost forgot to mention the dark mahogony wood floors throughout the room. \r

The rest of the hotel is always buzzing with other satisfied guest that don't care to leave the premises. The decor is very elegant, modern, and chic. Plenty of room to lounge and socialize. The staff is very nice. The complementary breakfast, and esspressos is nice. The location is the best. All of the dining and entertainment you need is in very short walking distance. The hotel is the center of Houston's City Centre. On the weekend you are right in the middle of all of the action. Locals come from all over Houston to the City Centre. Everyone is happy and having fun always. The area is upscale with no boujie attitudes. The prices are right for the type of atmoshere. If you wish to travel a little further to entertain yourself elsewhere, you're on the corner of two major highways.\r

The only con is the room service is not up to par, only comparing it to the room service at the same group's other Hotel Valencia in San Antonio. Which is just as good. Valencia is right on the Riverwalk. Hotel Valencia has a more Central and South American theme, different from the European theme at Sorella. If you ask Hotel Valencia to bring you a gun, some weed, and hooker, they'd say sure and you'd get a knock at the door within five minutes. There'd be a topless hooker with bullets strung across her chest like Rambo, with a bag of weed standing at your door, and you'll be like that was susposed to be a prank call. Sorella has told me they can't or they don't have on maybe two occasions. I believe it is because they are still breaking it in and are not prepared for all situations. They've only been open since August. In the end stay there, you won't regret it. Great Value.
Pros: Price, Location,Decor, Atmosphere
Cons: Still breaking it in.
